Meg & Ben were married in April 2019 at Lazy River Estate Dubbo and I wanted to share their wedding a little differently compared to how I usually share Weddings. While their prep photos and portraits are some of my favourites (even with the torrential rain and dust storm for nearly 2hrs!!), I really wanted to dedicate a whole blog post to photos that are unposed & candid (ok I think I have two posed). I wanted to highlight the reception in particular, and how I chose to document it. When we arrived to the reception I immediately started going around the tables and taking couple/friend/family shots. I am aim to get at least 1 nice portrait of each of your guests with their plus one or friends. When speeches were on I was constantly photographing guests reactions. During the reception I am non-stop snapping, and I only ever sit down for 5-10 minutes to eat my dinner (if I am lucky). This is how I photograph every single Wedding. All of this was achieved by approx 9:15pm.
Once it’s time to hit the dance floor I am right smack in the middle of it (or standing on chair for a birds eye view) to capture all the fun.
I just really love to capture how your Wedding feels… It’s not just a tick and flick to capture the “formal” moments.
